pre-1977 This picture is from the CEC Entertainment 4th Quarter Video Update. This costume was what Nolan Bushnell was going to call Coyote Pizza. He ordered what he thought was a large coyote costume. Instead a large grey rat showed up! Due to this, he started shaping the restaurant around a rat instead. He was going to call the main character "Rick Rat". However, the board told him that people would not want to go to a restaurant whose mascot was a rat. Eventually when the first restaurant opened. This character was never used for any other purpose than the early Atari mascot.
